AgentMux Mobile Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

AgentMux Corp ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. AgentMux Mobile is a companion app for your own AgentMux desktop fleet — it does not run agents itself, it lets you view and interact with agents running on a desktop instance you control. This policy explains what the mobile app actually collects and transmits.

2. How the app connects to your agents

LAN mode: the app discovers and connects directly to a desktop AgentMux instance on your local network (via mDNS, a UDP-broadcast fallback, or QR-code pairing). In this mode, agent data, message history, and commands travel directly between your phone and your own desktop instance on your local network — they do not pass through AgentMux Corp's servers.

Cloud mode (MuxBus): if you sign in, the app connects through AgentMux Corp's MuxBus relay service so you can reach your own agents when you're off your local network. In this mode, messages and commands you send are relayed through our infrastructure to reach your desktop instance. We do not read, retain, or use the content of your agent messages beyond what's needed to relay them.

3. Information We Collect

Account information: if you sign in to MuxBus Cloud mode, we collect the email address associated with your account (via Cognito) and an authentication token. The token is stored using your device's OS-provided secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore) — never in plain text.

Camera: the app requests camera access only to scan a QR code for LAN pairing. The camera feed is processed entirely on-device to decode the QR code; no image or video is stored or transmitted.

Local network access: used to discover AgentMux desktop instances on your Wi-Fi network (mDNS/Bonjour). This is a local device permission, not data sent to us.

What we don't collect: the app contains no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, and no tracking of any kind. We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or any data beyond what's described above.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your data for advertising. MuxBus relay traffic passes through infrastructure we operate solely to deliver it between your devices.

5. Data Deletion

To delete your MuxBus account and associated data, contact us at privacy@agentmux.ai. LAN-mode usage doesn't create a cloud account, so there's nothing on our servers to delete in the first place.

6. Open Source

AgentMux Mobile's source code is publicly available on GitHub. You can audit exactly what the app does.

7. Security

Communication with MuxBus Cloud, and with a desktop instance's own API once connected, uses standard TLS encryption. The LAN discovery step itself (mDNS and UDP-broadcast probes used to find a desktop instance on your network) is not encrypted — it only exchanges instance addresses on your local network, not agent data or credentials. Authentication tokens are stored using your device's OS-provided secure storage. We take reasonable measures to protect any information we collect, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. Children's Privacy

AgentMux Mobile is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
