Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

AgentMux Corp. ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the AgentMux desktop application, the optional AgentMux Cloud account and its MuxBus relay, and agentmux.ai (the "Service"). The AgentMux mobile app has its own policy: Mobile Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide: If you contact us, we may collect your name and email address.

Usage data: When you visit agentmux.ai, each page view is sent to our analytics service at traffic.asaf.cc: the page address and title, the referring page, your screen size and browser language, the time, and how long the page was in view, together with a random visitor identifier (see Cookies) and a random identifier for the visit. Like any web server, the analytics server also receives your IP address. We use this only to understand how the site is used.

Application data: AgentMux runs locally on your machine and does not send your terminal sessions, commands, code, or other application data to us. The app has no telemetry.

AgentMux Cloud account (optional): If you create an AgentMux Cloud account to use the MuxBus relay (to message your agents across machines, or to reach them from the mobile app), messages you send through it are relayed through AgentMux Corp.'s MuxBus service. We do not read, retain, or use the content of relayed messages beyond what is needed to deliver them. For the account itself we keep the information described in Section 3.

3. Signing In with Email, Google, or Apple

You can sign in to an AgentMux Cloud account with an email address and password, with your Google account, or with your Apple account. Whichever you choose, we keep:

  • your email address and whether it has been verified;
  • an account identifier that we create, and the identifier your sign-in provider gives us for your account;
  • from Google: your name and profile picture, if your Google account shares them;
  • from Apple: your name, if you share it, and either your email address or the private relay address Apple creates for you if you choose "Hide My Email".

We use this only to sign you in, to show you which account you are using, to keep your account secure, and to contact you about your account. Sign-in with Google asks only for your basic profile and email address (the openid, email, and profile permissions). It does not give us access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, or any other Google data.

While AgentMux Cloud is invitation-only, a sign-in whose email address doesn't match an invitation is refused, and nothing is kept for it beyond our ordinary access logs.

4. Google User Data

AgentMux's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

  • Access and use: we request only the Google data a feature you turn on needs, and use it only to provide that feature to you.
  • Storage: the account information from Google sign-in (Section 3) is stored with your AgentMux Cloud account on Amazon Web Services in the United States.
  • Google accounts you connect in the app: if you connect a Google account in the AgentMux desktop app (Connectors), the app signs in to Google directly from your computer and keeps the resulting tokens in your operating system's credential store (such as Keychain or Windows Credential Manager). Those tokens, and the Google data the app reads with them, are not sent to AgentMux Corp. If you let an AI agent in AgentMux use that data, the agent sends it to the AI provider you chose for that agent, under that provider's terms.
  • Sharing: we do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or let anyone read it except as needed to provide the feature, to comply with the law, or with your consent.
  • No AI training: we do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

You can remove AgentMux's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and Sign in with Apple at Apple Account → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple.

5. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide the Service, including signing you in and relaying your messages
  • Improve the Service and user experience
  • Respond to support requests
  • Monitor aggregate usage trends

6. Data Sharing and Service Providers

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share anonymous, aggregated statistics that cannot identify any individual.

We use these service providers to run the Service: Amazon Web Services (hosting this website, the MuxBus relay, and AgentMux Cloud accounts through Amazon Cognito); Google and Apple, only if you choose to sign in with them; and our analytics service (Section 2). They process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service.

7. Retention and Deletion

We keep your AgentMux Cloud account information for as long as the account exists. To delete your account and the data we hold for it, email privacy@agentmux.ai from the address on the account; we delete it within 30 days. Signing out of the app or removing AgentMux's access in your Google or Apple account stops further sign-ins but does not by itself delete the account. Using the desktop app without an AgentMux Cloud account creates nothing on our servers.

8. Open Source

AgentMux is open-source software licensed under Apache 2.0. The source code is publicly available on GitHub. You can audit exactly what the application does.

9. Cookies

This website sets one cookie, _a5af_anon, holding a random visitor identifier for up to 2 years, and keeps a random identifier for the current visit in your browser's session storage. Both are used only for the analytics described in Section 2, not for advertising. You can delete the cookie or block cookies in your browser at any time.

10. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect any information we collect, including encryption in transit. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
